We’re excited to introduce you to Nova Scotia business and Canadian candle company, Lawrencetown Candle Co. Erika McNeice opened her Etsy shop in 2021 and has been making clean burning, sustainable candles ever since. Scents from their fall collection include Vanilla Maple Sugar, Harvest Autumn Pear and Pumpkin Spice Cake. Learn more about Erika and her candles below.

What inspired you to start your business?

Our love of candles and the lack of unique scents at stores. We pride ourselves on creating clean burning, sustainable candles that stand out from the crowd.

How would you describe your business?

Hand poured 100% Soy Wax Candles

What do you love most about owning and running your business?

Working local markets and chatting with our customers in person.

What’s your bestselling product? Why do you think it’s so popular?

Our DriftWood + Sage 10 oz Candle. It has a classic clean scent that is a real crowd pleaser.

Did you always know you’d follow this path or how has your journey as a maker/business owner progressed? 

We have always been makers (we just sold our last company) but this is the first time we have been able to pursue something we both truly enjoy.
