Chocolate Escapade is a Canadian chocolate brand based in Edmonton, AB. They create high quality, artisan chocolates without the use of any artificial flavours.
How would you describe your business?
Our slogan is Amazing, Delicious, Art. I’m driven to create something that will be not only a spectacle when you see it, but when you taste it, you experience the depth of flavour and quality. I use absolutely no artificial flavours and use local products when possible, and the most ethically produced chocolate available.
What was the inspiration to open your business?
It is a family tradition to give baking to family, friends, and neighbours to celebrate Christmas. I made some chocolates one year and the feedback was overwhelming that I should embrace my talent and make chocolates for a living.

The chocolates are very visually appealing and each one bursts with flavour.
What’s your favourite product from your own shop?
I enjoy the newest creations, like our Northern Lights Smash Egg for Easter.

There are so many great businesses in Edmonton. Alternate Route Coffee (a Canadian coffee brand) is certainly a top one.
