Top Hand Blown Glass Studios

We’re excited to share some of the top hand blown glass studios across Canada. Hand blown glass artists have always fascinated us. The craftsmanship and devotion it takes to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind glass products is incredible. If you’ve ever seen a glass artist create in person or on video, you know what we’re talking about. We also include the artist who created a glass vase that we have in our personal collection and truly cherish.

Due to the unique and high quality nature of hand blown glass products, it makes them excellent gifts for weddings and housewarming gifts.

Studio Honami

Studio Honami is another hand blown glass studio and local Ontario shop. They take a softer approach but still use beautiful colour combinations but they are more muted. You can add soft colour and style to your bathroom with their gorgeous soap pump dispensers (which make great housewarming gifts!). Or add flare to your kitchen cabinets with beautiful hand blown wine glasses which we included in our Gifts For Wine Lovers gift guide. Or add some colour to your front porch or garden with their beautifully shaped wind chimes.

Virginia Wilson Toccalino: Hand Blown Glass Artist

There is no shortage of beautiful glass items created by Virginia Wilson Toccalino, a hand blown glass artist and Ontario shop based in Georgetown. Seriously! The list is extensive. The vase pictured below is from our personal collection and is one that we truly cherish. She also makes stunning decorative hearts, Christmas decorations, ornaments for your tree, jewellery and so much more. The selection, the colours, and the designs, really make Virginia’s glass art stand out.

Infinite Glassworks

We had the pleasure of meeting Kate, the Ontario based hand blown glass artist behind Infinite Glassworks in person at a local market. We continue to be amazed at her designs and her glass art creations. If you live in the Grey County Ontario area and would like to give glass art a try, Kate offers classes in her home studio in Berkeley, Ontario.

There you have it, these are some of the best hand blown glass studios in Canada. As we discover more glass artists, we’ll update this shopping guide.
