What inspired you to open your shop?

My journey began with a personal need. Working in IT, I spent long hours in front of a computer and started noticing the effects of blue light, lack of fresh air, and environmental stress on my skin.

This sparked my interest in skincare formulations, leading me to study and earn multiple diplomas and certifications in Organic Skincare Formulations, Natural Cosmetic Preservation, and Testing. I began creating my own skincare products using high-performance, plant-based ingredients.

As I saw how effective my formulations were, I realized I could share them with others in a way that aligned with my values—sustainability, authenticity, and minimalism. LILIXIR was born out of a desire to offer luxurious, science-driven, and eco-conscious skincare that not only delivers real results but also respects the planet.

By carefully sourcing organic, high-performance botanical extracts and using eco-friendly packaging, I created a brand that prioritizes both skin health and sustainability. My mission is to empower people to care for their skin in an effective, ethical, and future-conscious way.

LILIXIR is a premium, plant-based skincare brand that blends science and sustainability to create high-performance, organic-certified products for all skin types and colours. Our formulations are genderless, ensuring that everyone can experience the benefits of natural beauty, no matter who they are.

Founded by a certified skincare formulator with multiple diplomas in organic and natural skincare, LILIXIR was born from a personal need to combat the effects of blue light and environmental stress on the skin. Each product is crafted in our Montreal-based lab, using only the finest organic and natural ingredients, carefully selected for their efficacy and skin benefits.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our first collection LILIXIR Ageless is waterless, delivering concentrated, potent formulations with minimal environmental impact.

We use eco-friendly, FSC-certified packaging, and enhance accessibility with Braille on every package. Plus, for each product sold, a tree is planted, helping us offset our carbon footprint and contribute to a greener planet.

The current best-selling products from LILIXIR are the two face serums from our Ageless Collection: LILIXIR Ageless Day Serum and LILIXIR Ageless Night Serum.

What’s your favourite product that you make?

Thank you for asking! Right now, my personal favorite product is definitely the LILIXIR Ageless Day Serum and LILIXIR Ageless Night Serum. I absolutely love them because they’ve truly transformed my skin.

The texture has improved so much, and I can honestly say my skin looks better now than it did 10 years ago! These serums are packed with incredible plant-based ingredients that work harmoniously to hydrate, regenerate, and give the skin that natural glow.

What’s your favourite local Quebec business?

One of my favorite local businesses in Quebec is Lufa Farms. They operate the world’s largest rooftop greenhouse in Montreal, growing pesticide-free vegetables year-round using hydroponic systems. I admire their commitment to sustainability, especially with their electric van deliveries even in the winter. Lufa Farms not only supports local food systems but also contributes to environmental conservation, which aligns with my values of sustainability and responsibility in business.
