Cwtch & Co

Cwtch, (pronounced “kutch”, rhymes with “butch”), has a variety of meanings in Welsh, but the most important and popular meaning is cuddle or hug.  A cwtch has a magical quality that evokes a sense and feeling of love, warmth and comfort.  Inspired by the desire to recreate the enchanting sense and ambience of love and comfort with candles, whilst also being a clean-burning product, Cwtch & Co was created.

Cwtch & Co is a Welsh-named soy candle company founded in Alberta, Canada that first started off as a hobby in early 2018. During this time of researching, experimenting and creating, it was my aim to not only just create beautifully scented candles, but to also create a clean-burning product.  With that in mind, soy wax was the perfect fit with its clean-burning properties, such as being petro-carbon soot-free, non-toxic and a renewable resource, while offering a longer burn time and having a wonderful scent throw.

Cwtch & Co soy candles are made using 100% undyed soy wax with no additives, lead-free cotton wicks, and high-quality, phthalate-free fragrance oils.  The simple and minimal design will effortlessly complement and be the perfect finishing touch to your space.
