Describe your brand:

Lake Club is made up of handmade felt banners and pennants inspired by Canadian heritage, lake life, and nostalgia. I start by drawing a mockup on my computer, make a template, cut the felt and iron all together using double sided adhesive.

What inspired you to start your business?

Since the age of 7, I would spend my summers at my family cottage in Madoc, Ontario. From that moment on I was in love with that so-called Lake Life. Some of my favourite memories were spent on Moira Lake. Taking my love for the Lake Life and turning it into something I’m proud to show off.

What’s your bestselling product & why do you think it’s popular?

The banner that read: This Must Be The Place.

It’s a lyric from a song by the band, Talking Heads. It’s a great song and people love it! It can also just mean, this is the place to be!

What’s your personal favourite product from your shop right now? Why do you love it so much?

The banner that reads: This Is A Good Sign. It makes me laugh! It’s a sign that reads This is a Good Sign! Get it?!
