Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market

Located along the beautiful Halifax waterfront, the Halifax Seaport Farmer’s Market, is the perfect spot to support local Halifax artists, grab local produce and do some gift shopping. It’s located inside a large building so even if the weather isn’t great, you can still enjoy it. They also have big garage doors that they open on summer days when the weather permits. It’s really an incredible place that we definitely recommend whether you’re a local or visiting and looking for things to do in Halifax.

Spryfield Farmer’s Market

Spryfield Farmer’s Market is another great place to shop for locally grown produce, baked goods and made in Canada products like pet food, upcycled Canadian clothing, honey and more.

Made In The Maritimes is a Halifax gift shop with two retail locations. This incredible shop is an amazing place to support lots of Maritime businesses in one transaction. They have everything from candles including some by Lawrencetown Candle Co., pottery, Canadian souvenirs, DIY kits, tea, charcuterie boards, hot sauces, salt water taffy, chocolate, honey, hand blown glass pieces and even maple syrup, and more. It’s definitely a shop worth visiting!
