Skin Frequency is a Canadian skin care brand based in Collingwood, ON. They have a variety of natural skin care collections to choose from ranging from a soothing skin set to nighttime renewal sets (and more).
What inspired you to start your business?
I have always struggled with my skin, searching the market for products that truly worked. This search led me to a career in skincare 20 years ago, working in spas, clinics, and alongside dermatologists. Yet, I still couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for.
A decade ago, I opened a holistic facial clinic and began seeking holistic skincare products that met my standards. Even then, I couldn’t find that magic combination—something that aligned with both the knowledge I had gathered over the years and my vision of what skincare should be.
I wanted products that were ultra-pure and holistic, yet also incorporated clean actives—without fillers, emulsifiers, preservatives, or the countless skin-disrupting ingredients commonly found in skincare. So, I started creating my own formulations—blends designed to support all skin types and conditions, bringing the skin back into balance naturally.
How do you describe your brand?
I am the founder and formulator of my business, I do everything from skin health education and product, label and box design to creating and testing formulations. I also handle production, bottling, and shipping—ensuring every step meets the highest standards.
What’s your bestselling product & why do you think it’s so popular?
I would have to say Warmth – Zinc balm is our most popular.
It’s a true multitasker. With 17% non-nano zinc oxide, it offers skin barrier support while feeling creamy, nourishing, and lightweight. Unlike most zinc products, it blends seamlessly into all skin tones without leaving a white cast, which isn’t easy to find.
Zinc is also naturally anti-inflammatory, helping to calm red, irritated skin from conditions like eczema, rosacea, and acne. The blend of jojoba, tamanu, and seabuckthorn oils, along with beeswax, melts into the skin, adding moisture and protection without feeling heavy or greasy. Whether you use it as a daily moisturizer, a soothing night balm, or an all-purpose skin healer, Warmth keeps your skin feeling balanced and comfortable.
What’s your favourite product from your own shop?
I really love two of our new products Aura treatment oil and Enrich, our essential oil free balm with rosehip and CoQ10.
Aura is all about skin and emotional restoration, with rock rose and deeply soothing botanicals that bring both balance and nourishment. It’s protective, calming, and has this grounding quality that makes it feel like a true ritual.
Enrich is the kind of balm I’ve always wanted, deeply moisturizing and repairing, but completely essential oil-free, making it perfect for the most sensitive skin. With rosehip and CoQ10, it delivers serious skin support without any heaviness.
